2021 is nearly at an end and while, let’s be honest, the year is finishing on a lower note than we had all hoped for thank to the new Omicron variant, there is still plenty to look forward to in 2022.
With vaccines and booster shots being delivered at record pace, we can all look to the new year with excitement. While it may not be immediately, there are many weekends ahead to take advantage of all the wonderful things that Dunbar has to offer.
Dunbar, situated on the east coast of Scotland 30 miles from Edinburgh, is famous for its sunshine, spectacular coastline and Christmas Lights (even though the 2021 event was cancelled because of Storm Arwen).
Dunbar is a thriving town with a busy High Street and shops, restaurants and cafes to suit everyone.
Whether you live in Scotland or the North of England, finding things to do at the weekend can, from time to time get tough. Do you go to location X which has the beach but nothing else or do you go to location Y that has an old castle but nothing to entertain the kids.
Well this is where Dunbar can truly shine a bright light on your weekend plans.
Whether you are looking for weekend trip ideas or Easter, Summer or October Week getaway suggestions, then you need to check out Dunbar.
It is well situated with East Lothian on the doorstep and Berwickshire, the Borders and Edinburgh within very easy reach.
